Notes

The following property rules are specifically for "Packwood Station"

Packwood Station is a place where anyone who loves the mountain can relax and reconnect with nature. We love hosting families, couples, friends, groups, and soloists.
We love to host parties as well, but to have a party at Packwood Station you must contact us and go over your plans beforehand. No events that have not been coordinated with ownership will be allowed, and your event will be cancelled.

Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am.
Our septic system requires only human waste and tissue paper in the toilets. If you flush other items, and our septic backs up, it is a $500 fine to have it unclogged.

The Washington Department of Natural Resources often restricts outdoor fires in the summer to prevent wildfires. Burning during a fire ban is dangerous; the penalties are severe, and any violators will be reported and evicted without negotiation or compensation. We put large signs in the firepits so you know when there is a burn ban in effect.

The land surrounding our cabin is home to a vast array of wildlife. Cougars, bears, bobcats, and coyotes have been seen around here. Supervise your children and pets very closely. Remember, any food left outside will attract animals.

Amplified music is not allowed anywhere on the deck or in the front yard. This includes portable outdoor speakers. We do however, greatly encourage campfire guitar playing.

We have a great trail that leads to a waterfall, the Taidnapam Trail. These forests have been used by many people in the past, and we can enjoy it because they took good care of it. We have a zero tolerance policy regarding litter, or damaging trees. You may not collect any firewood from the forest on the property. We have firewood for sale for $10, just send us a message and we will tell you the code to the kindling cabin shed, located in a stainless steel lockbox next to the green warehouse.

As the registered guest, you're required to share this information with others in your party and take responsibility for any damage(s) they might incur during your stay.

PETS:
We love our pets, and bring them to Packwood Station frequently! We want the Station to be a place where people can enjoy recreating with their pups.
That being said, here are some STRICT rules related to dogs on the property. Ensure you follow these, as you will be held liable for anything that happens regarding your dog.
More than 2 dogs is not allowed.
All dogs must be leashed at all times.
Cats are not allowed on the property.
YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR DOG POOP. There are dog bags located in your unit.
In addition, the property is not fenced. And while it is large, it is a shared campus and other guests likely have dogs as well. Thanks for listening to the rules!
