walk outside of the charming small town of Packwood, Washington. This destination is perfect if you are
an outdoor enthusiast, looking for a fun family getaway, or wanting a peaceful place to relax.

Conveniently located just 2 ½ hours from both Portland, OR and Seattle, WA, Cabin on the creek, is
surrounded by Mt. Rainier National Forest, the Tatoosh Range and the Goat Rocks, making it centrally
located near countless world class outdoor recreation options and a great home base for your outdoor
adventures. Enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing,
hiking, fishing, camping, boating, hunting and more. Located 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Area and
10 minutes from the Steven's Canyon entrance to Mt. Rainier National Forest. Walk 10 minutes down to
the Cowlitz River to go fishing. Walk 5 minutes into town for groceries or to enjoy a local restaurant or
watering hole. Ultimate relaxation is guaranteed as you listen to the sounds of the creek, watch local
wildlife meander by (elk included), soak in the hot tub, and enjoy s'mores by the outdoor fire pit. Hall

  • This property does not have AC, but fans are provided for your comfort. 
  • During the summer a burn ban may go into effect in all of Lewis County. During this time campfires, the use of charcoal briquettes, and any other form of burning may be prohibited. 
  • Winters in Packwood may get very snowy. It is the guests responsibility to be properly equipped for harsh winter driving conditions. We do our best to keep our cabins accessible, but winter traction tires and 4-wheel drive may still be required.
